An artistic project by the Finnish photographer Markus Henttonen, “Silent Night” captures the eery quality of homes that are glammed out with Christmas lights but devoid of people. The series focuses on L.A., where many people travel for the holidays, but not before decking their houses with showy lights. Presenting an alter-world vision of winter splendor, “Silent Night” puts forth a beautiful yet ghostly visual. The photographs are currently on view at the Lahti Art Museum in Finland, where they can be seen until January 18th, 2015.
