Such + Such is an inspired little studio founded by DAAP Industrial Design graduates Alex Aeschbury and Zach Darmanian in 2010. Based in Cincinnati, Ohio, the team is dedicated to designing and producing durable, eco-friendly, simple furniture and decor in the USA. Making use of sustainably forested hardwoods such as naturally felled Ohio Valley ash, the designers also utilize local-to-the-Midwest materials as much as possible. The resulting products are good for the environment, for America’s arts and crafts scene, and for you. The current range from Such + Such includes square and rectangular “Block Clocks,” a coffee table, and stools and crates of varying heights. Most of these items are made of ash, walnut, and powdercoated steel. Matching one another, each comes in a pairing of natural, black, white, and seafoam finishes, and custom colors are available upon request. Look for these bright, playful designs in Gessato’s shop.
