Back in 2013, the Omega released their Dark Side of the Moon collection of Speedmasters, the first watch to be worn on the moon. Now back in four new models, the Dark Side of the Moon makes its debut at Baselworld 2015. The new styles include Black Black, Sedna Black, Vintage Black, and Pitch Black, each outfitted with the signature Omega Co-Axial 9300 caliber three-hand movement and black ceramic case, crown, dial, and pushers. The Black Black version is monochrome with a matte dial, brushed ceramic caseback ring, applied indices, black Super-LumiNova, and a nylon strap. By contrast, the Sedna Black is more legible with bright 18-karat Sedna Gold components, paired with a black leather strap. The Pitch Black resembles the Sedna but features greenish SuperLuminova on the tachymeter scale, hands, and indices. Straying furthest from the norm, the Vintage edition ages the look, reimagining the Dark Side of the Moon with a brown leather strap and with a faded, not-quite-gold “Vintage” indices and tachymeter scale. The watches are priced from $10,750-$12,435.
