Designed by the French studio Numéro111, the Tropical Collection is a trio of stylized containers representing tropical fruit. Sweet and sharp, the collection includes high-end interpretations of pineapple, cherimoya, and papaya. Each design features wood and one additional, distinct material. For the pineapple, this extra is lacquered metal. For the cherimoya, it’s metal rods. Last but not least, for the papaya, it is San Francisco granite. The three luxe items are a fine exploration of natural imagery and formal design. The recently collection made its debut at the International Design Biennial in Saint-Étienne, France.
