Fresh from PEdAL ED, a Tokyo-based brand of Brooks England Ltd, these packable jackets are part of the label’s stylish new collaboration with Italian manufacturers. While PEdAL ED’s earlier designs were designed and handcrafted in Japan, these two latest styles, the The Gufo Jacket and the Saddle Packable Jacket, are made in Italy, fostering craftsmanship around the world.

The outerwear is made for cyclists and ideal for the swiftly changing weather of spring. The designs can be folded down and kept in a pocket while not in use. Then, when the wind picks up or it starts to drizzle, the activewear is there to help keep the riding experience comfortable and fun.

The Saddle Packable Jacket is made of a windproof and water-resistant nylon and cotton blend with “self-cleaning” NanoSphere technology. Technical yet soft, the fabric helps the wearer feel and smell good on commutes and leisurely journeys alike. Handsome as well, the crease-resistant fashion is cut with an adjustable, multi-look collar and comes in one’s choice of red, green, or navy. The performance layer is available online for €230.

One of the lightest of windbreakers, the Gufo Jacket is crafted from a thin yet strong polyamide material that is windproof and water-resistant. The effortless style is cut longer in the back and features a large rear pocket, an exclusive double-zip system, a chic stripe, and safety-enhancing reflective details. The quintessential clothing may be purchased in black, brown, and green colorways, each found online for €150.
