Inspired by the idea of bringing a “Paraguayan home” to Puerto Iguazú, Argentina, Yerbas del Paraís is sustainable and budget-conscious farmhouse designed by IR.arquitectura. The rustic design is used as a home base for agriculture and reforestation in the area. Made of dark, naturally finished wood, the building has an organic, soothing appearance. The timber construction is softened by the green roof and textiles such as those of the hammock and other suspended seating. Connected to the surrounding environment, the commune is cut out with many sections that can be covered or left open to the air.
