Created for travels and adventures, the new Bluetooth Beoplay A1 speaker offers superior sound and plenty of bass in a stylish and compact design. The speaker is made by B&O PLAY, a member of Bang & Olufsen which was founded in 1925 in Denmark, and designed by Cecilie Manz, a product and furniture designer living and working in Copenhagen. As a consequence, the speaker boasts a cool Scandinavian design and a high quality sound. A1 conveniently fits into the palm of your hand and weighs just 600 grams, yet it features an ambient 360 sound with a peak power of 2×140 W. The aluminum cover has an elegant rounded shape and is reinforced by a double-molded polymer base. A thin leather strap makes transportation easy, as it can be used to hang the speaker to a bag, on a wrist, or inside a hotel room. Completed without external buttons, switches or legs, A1 is easy to slip into a pocket or bag. The battery lasts up to 24 hours and since the A1 has a smart charging system, it will be ready for music in next to no time. Though it is designed for filling the outdoors with your favorite music, the A1 can also be used as a microphone for calls, offering an excellent voice reproduction. The surface is splash, impact, and dust resistant, protecting the electronic components from damage, but crucially, it is not scratch-resistant. This intentional feature means that the speaker will transform over time, gaining more character with each hike or adventure and bearing the marks of your best memories.
