Solidwool has two components, bio-resin and wool, the first being eco-friendly and without harmful chemicals, and the latter being sustainable, renewable, and also completely natural.

The company’s manufacturing methods have the lowest environmental impact possible at the moment, with constant improvements researched and implemented to reduce the percentage even further. Using this composite material, the brand produces products and objects for the modern home, including this stylish Hembury Chair. The design is inspired by the iconic Eames Plastic Side Chair which was manufactured in the 50s using fiberglass. Hembury features a striking texture that puts the wool fibers on display. The seat contains coarse fibers of Herdwick wool, the legs are made of ash wood sourced from UK forests, with a black powder coated steel frame completing the design. The simple and elegant lines ensure that the chair will look at home in any contemporary interior, complementing both wooden tables and industrial designs.
