custom-1980-ducati-darmah-3

It may be hard to believe, but this gorgeous 1980 Ducati Darmah was found abandoned in a barn, where it had gathered dust and cobwebs for more than 20 years. The owner hired Rasio Bikes, a workshop based in North East Lincolnshire, UK, to revive the motorcycle and bring its Italian charisma back to life. But unlike most Darmah customization projects, this one strayed from the safe path and the factory specs, bringing some innovative features to enhance the original model and infuse it with a racing spirit. The team added new parts that span over a period of 30 years, ensuring the bike maintains its retro appearance intact while providing a creative and fresh take on the classic Darmah. The frame was modified with new top rails and a headstock made by the team, while at the back, a modern suspension combines with the classic trellis. Golden wheels complement the gorgeous tank which is painted in black and gold. At the front, the electrics are hidden behind the inset speedometer and the motorcycle is now more lightweight thanks to a new Ballistic Li-Po battery. The original headlight was preserved, adding the perfect retro touch to this custom project that seamlessly blends vintage charm and modern features in a distinctly stylish and minimalist motorcycle.
