Last year, Jaguar Classic announced the return of ‘The Missing Six’, raising the pulse of automotive fans across the world. Remade using state-of-the-art digital scanning technology and the blueprint of one of the original Lightweight E-types from 1963, the cars made history. Now the company takes things further with the ‘Jaguar E-Type Reborn’ project. If the previously mentioned six – some of the rarest cars in the world – came with a hefty price tag of around $1.8 million, this project offers enthusiasts and collectors the opportunity to order a beautifully restored Series 1 E-type directly from the company.
Dubbed “The most beautiful car in the world” by none other than Enzo Ferrari, the Jaguar E-type remains as stunning now as it was at its launch in the ‘60s. The iconic car “defined its generation” and became the epitome of glamor and style. In 2017, the company aims to keep the flame alight through the ‘Reborn’ program, restoring original cars to their former glory. Jaguar Classic craftspeople, original parts and the latest technology combine to ensure not only accuracy and authenticity, but also that every car maintains its distinctive vintage charm. The first E-type ‘Reborn’ (out of an initial set of 10) will make its grand debut at the Techno Classica 2017 show, which takes place in Essen between the 5th and 9th of April.
