Art, innovation and state-of-the-art technology combine in the BeoSound Shape by Bang & Olufsen. Safe to say, it’s one of the most beautiful and creative sound systems in the world. The wall-mounted Shape features a modular tile design that enables a wide range of combinations. Perfect for both music and design lovers, the wireless system becomes a work of art and décor piece, providing superior sound quality at the same time.

Apart from their attractive appearance and potential for creating 3D illusions on a wall, the hexagon shapes also have a deeper meaning. “The hexagon is one of nature’s favored forms, seen in anything from snowflakes to honeycombs and makes perfect sense in repetitive and expanding structures. Every outcome is unique and there is a sense of natural beauty in these infinite variations,” says designer Øivind Alexander Slaatto.

More than just a stunning design, the tiles also offer an immersive music listening experience. Users can install up to 44 tiles in a modular unit, with speakers, amplifiers and dampers arranged in any combination. The system features a BeoSound Core connectivity hub that allows the user to stream music directly from a tablet or a smartphone via Bluetooth, Chromecast or Apple Air Play, among other options. The numerous fabric colors include classic black and gray as well as moss green or pink, providing the opportunity to create a truly one-of-a-kind speaker system. If you’ve fallen in love with BeoSound Shape and want one for your home or office, you won’t have to wait long. The system will find its way into stores this fall. Photo credits: Bang & Olufsen.
