There’s been a recent boom in commuting and urban bike launches – it’s an amazing thing to see. But even in our already happy state we’re more than thrilled to see an Italian brand provide an unsurprisingly distinctive take on the concept. Designed by SZ | Bikes and made in Italy, the Equilibrium bike aims to provide the perfect blend of style, safety, dynamism, and comfort. And it succeeds. At first sight, one instantly notices the half-rim design which adds a splash of color to the bicycle and the minimalist saddle. But this ride is more than just gorgeous. Built using aluminum for the frame, handlebar and seat tube and carbon fiber for the front fork, Equilibrium is lightweight, responsive and feels great to ride through city streets.

The bike also comes with a convenient Sram 2-Speed Automatic Shifting Hub with a coaster brake and a LED taillight with an integrated 120 decibel anti-theft siren that provides peace of mind. In terms of comfort, Equilibrium features a soft Spyder Saddle and front grips with a sponge filling that absorbs shocks. Available from September 2017, you can now pre-order the bicycle on the brand’s official website for around $820. And you can also choose the rim color between six vibrant options.
