Vibrato – Transforming Sound Into Meaningful Art

View all 4 Photos

If you ever wondered what your favorite song looks like, we’ve got some good news for you. US company Vibrato transforms sounds into stunning black and white prints through a simple but ingenious process. First, the team plays the sound underneath a clear plastic base coated in a specially diluted ink to create the vibrations’ visual fingerprint. Then they scan the sheet and enhance the image before printing it on high-quality Somerset Velvet 310 gsm. paper. That way, Vibrato creates beautiful works of art filled with meaning.

The best part? One can not only transform favorite tunes into wall art, but also translate a child’s first words or wedding vows into truly special artworks. The hand numbered and signed 30’’x 30’’ prints also come with the original inked recording. And for those who prefer brighter colors that match their décor, the company also offers a bespoke service.
