The wooden design is crafted from solid European oak and naturally finished. Loosely inspired by a camera’s tripod, the table legs are angled outward for support. Duo, Minimalist Planter by Alessandro di Prisco

Duo by Alessandro di Prisco is a minimalist Italian design. The two-part object is composed of a raw wooden block and a painted ceramic planter. Spread out the pieces for an elegant display that plays with height, or stack the earthenware on top of the fir base to elevate your plants. Either way, this naturalist design makes for a simple yet textured way to show off flowers, succulents, and more.

Monstera Plant Pot by Tim van de Weerd

Reminiscent of Salvador Dali’s elephants, these leggy flower pots were created by the Dutch designer Tim van de Weerd. The roots of the home garden design were made of steel and bent into an organic shape. This makes the pots more durable than they look. Coated with epoxy clay and lacquered in white, the finished design resembles classic ceramic, a traditional outward material to complement the surreal form.

Natural Bathroom Decor by Wood Melbourne

Earlier this year, the Australian brand Wood Melbourne launched this stunning range of bathroom furniture and accessories. The collection is made of natural materials such as reclaimed wood, brass, chrome, and hand-poured concrete. Each piece is industrial yet smooth and altogether serene. Furthermore, the items are sustainably sourced and handmade in Wood Melbourne’s workshop, so the project’s carbon footprint is minimal, and craftsmanship is the central focus.

Whistle Lamp by Lucie Koldova

Whistle is a new glass lamp designed by Lucie Koldova Studio. Like many Lucie Koldova lamps, this latest pendant lamp pairs sleek glass with bright colors. This particular design houses a painted interior inside a clear glass shell made by Czech artisans. The pipe-shaped lampshade hangs from a cord in a matching hue so that the design loosely resembles a pull whistle.

Recently presented during Dutch Design Week 2014, SEA ME is a rug made of algae and reused fisher’s net. The Studio Nienke Hoogvliet design is a handcrafted, sustainable textile.
